Before you.... I was content
A leaf ridding upon a placid pool
Floating in the warm sunlight, near the shore
Moving just enough to keep afloat
I didn't know i was looking for you
A vibrant leaf ridding on the ripples of the stream
You waved an invitation and I smiled
In the sparkling, rushing river, we rode out
life's journey
Reflection bounced off the vibrant waves
your world so full of motion... I joined willingly
Laughing so happily as we rode along
Toward the wild unknown rapids
There is a chance.. that we will reach the..
Bend in the stream.. a day to rejoice
Till then, all time is suspended
As we dart and play
In the bright glistening drops of magic
