Put MY Pen Away
In my mind there is so much to say
that I can't seem to put my pen away
There is so much that I want to share
To let the world know that i care
If only one person can come to understand
That I'll reach for them,and hold out my hand
Maybe in my words they will come to find
Some contentment for their troubled mind
I hope that one person will come to see
That they mean something ,at least to me
When there is a feeling it couldn't be worse
Maybe they can find a answer in my verse
Maybe knowing that I have been there before
Will let them know that they aren't alone any more
If one verse could brighten a dark day
I might never put my pen away.......................by free spirit
