You're standing there,your face with a frown
You condemn me and try to put me down
But you don't know the roads I have taken
You say I'll be sorry for all I have forsaken
I won't try to explain,for iit would take to long
And I'm not sure who is right or wrong
If you need to make me over,you don't want me at all
For I'll not succumb,you'll not make me look small
Nor will you take the sparkle from my eye
Nor clip my wings when I want to fly
It's my life and I'll live as I choose
And it will be I that pays should I loose
you're standing there,telling me I am a fool
because I won't conform to your silly rule
You sat it's a shame all the talent I waste
that I've thrown away my glass and my taste
I guess it depends on which side you are on
just what is still here and what has gone
Look in the mirror and what do you see
Are you sure your so much better then me
As you do all society has expected
The things you say I have neglected
There's so much,I have to do and share
